Alivar Freeform Sofa

Noguchi Freeform Sofa with Ottoman | Alivar Art. 722 726

The Freeform Sofa and Ottoman were born out of the Noguchi sculptural style which exerted a lasting influence on the organic design language of the time. Freeform is an exquisite example of the mid-century biomorphic form as designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1946. The rare originals made around that time achieved record prices at auctions. In balance and harmony with nature, the Freeform sofa and ottoman is an icon of modern furniture design. Noguchi emphasizes this effect with a thin but extremely comfortable upholstery and selection of covering in natural colors. It is ideal for living rooms, but is also ideal for commercial settings such as lobby, hotel, or boutiques. Alivar Art. 722 and 726. Available in leather and fabrics. Priced in Cat. C fabric.
