Every Oltremare Armchair is an artisanal masterpiece, where heritage meets contemporary design:

• Structure & Padding: Fire-resistant, cold-cured polyurethane foam (55 kg/m³) with metal inserts and plywood bottom

• Seat Cushion: Variable-density polyurethane foam (50IM and 30IM) for unparalleled comfort

• Upholstery: Fine velvet coupled with resin (150 gr/sqm). Leather coverings available (non-removable)

• Feet: Black RAL 9005 painted metal, 7.87" high, designed to visually suspend the seat and enhance its fluid silhouette

Design Narrative

Inspired by a distant past and the Italian sea, Antonio Marras describes the Oltremare as a “sacred idol”, a vessel of memory and vision. Its asymmetric curves form natural backrests, creating a nest-like sanctuary while offering an intuitive escape route. The interplay of soft, enveloping lines and a minimal metal base celebrates both classic and modern sensibilities.
