Philia Low Tables
A quiet expression of connection, balance, and design.
Designed by Studiopepe for Saba, Philia is a low table conceived as a gesture of friendship—subtle, supportive, and deeply considered. It moves effortlessly through interiors, adapting to different sofas, materials, and moods with a presence that is calm yet unmistakably refined.
Philia takes its name from the Greek concept of philia: a bond built on affection, harmony, and collaboration. The table is designed not to dominate a space, but to complete it—creating visual and functional continuity between seating elements.
Placed beside a soft fabric sofa, a sculptural chaise longue, or a tailored leather setting, Philia acts as a connective element. Its proportions and materials are carefully balanced, allowing it to belong naturally in both residential and contract interiors.
Craftsmanship & Materials
The design is defined by essential lines and noble materials, assembled with architectural precision.
Structure composed of three reconstructed marble slabs
Material: Eco-Stone Natural, created from marble fragments agglomerated with resin
20 mm thick slabs, joined by a 4 mm painted steel sheet
Each slab resting on the floor is fitted with protective felt
The result is a table with weight and permanence, softened by refined detailing and tactile balance.
Customization
Philia is available in multiple sizes, allowing it to adapt to various seating arrangements and spatial compositions. The modularity of scale makes it suitable as a singular accent or as a family of tables layered within the same environment.
