Bubble Chair was inspired by the Ball Chair design by Eero Aarnio and he explains that this time he wanted to have light inside it and so had the idea of a transparent sphere where it can be illuminated from all directions. The only suitable material is Acryl-glass or clear acrylic which is heated and blown into a round shape. The same way dome-shaped skylight bubbles are made. A steel ring fashioned in chrome was added together with cushions. Bubble chair comes with a hanging chain. Professional help may be required to secure mounting hardware. The cushion is available in silver or white PU leather. As Ludwig Mies van der Rohe said: "Less is more! A masterpiece of reduction". The material and shape of the hanging chair were complete novelties for the Sixties' furniture industry.

Always interested in learning about new ways of manufacturing and seeing, if they are appropriate to realize his ideas in designing - a maximum liberty of formation. So he found the “rotational molding” - a way of working with plastic (in this case MDPE medium density polyethylene) which offers mostly the same qualities as fiberglass, but much cheaper in production getting a high quality product.
