STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is a chrome (min. 11%), iron and carbonium-based alloy with an addition of other elements, which are mainly nickel, molybdenum, manganese, silicon, titanium and others, that make it corrosion strength. Due to the capacity of these alloys to get passive in a sufficiently oxidizing environment, through a particular surface film formed by the oxigen absorbtion that protects them from the corrosion attack, the resistance of the stainless steel is good.
Stainlees steel is divided into three groups: “Austentico”, “Ferritico” and “Martensitico”.
CORO© uses the “austentico” type (AISI 316), which is unhardenable and which presence of Molybdenum make it particularly corrosion-resistant, specially under particular bad conditions and for those euqipment which goes in contact with water or marine atmosphere.
It is important to underline that, if it is true that the stainlees steels have good features to resist to corrosion, then it is also true that it cannot support the attack under any other conditon, as any other material can not. Their corrosion strength, in-fact, depends on many other elements, that is to say: the kind of environment where they are, their closeness to other irony materials, the presence of particularly aggressive chemical elements in the air, and so on.
For this reason, in order to grant a longevity to the steel.
PVC
Plastic material which maintains unchanged during the time the characteristics of elasticity, durability and colour of of the material used both indoor and outdoor. It has inside a nylon cord which gives it durability and elasticity. The tests against fire reaction have given results and it has been classified according to the normative UL 94 V.
ODUM
It is a wood which grows up mainly in the wet forests of Ghana and of the Ivory Coast. It has a clear colour and its fibers are tipically interwoven, sometimes irregularly. It is a very durable wood provided with medium density and stability. It has medium bending and compression resistance. Its use specifications are the same as those of teak with the difference that it it not oily by touch. It is highly used in boat manufacturing, marine buildings, chairs and tables for parks and gardens.
HAMMOCK CORD
Hammock in nylon cord, 750 kg capacity. The external cord has a capacity of 336 kg.
STIFF POLYURETHANE
VORACOR polyol is suitable to manufacture, by pouring polyurethane foams with applied density 300/5” kg/mc. These foams are suitable for manufacturing furnishing. As it is an inert material, it is particularly suitable for outdoor, as it does not undergo variations for changes of temperature and atmospheric agents.
VORACOR polyol is characterized by the absence of any chloride spreading agent.
STORY CORO came into being at the end of 2002 with the aim of making a place for itself in the still little-developed outdoor furniture design market.

COLLECTIONS
The first collection, designed by Stefano Gallizioli, is a complete concept, from seats to BBQ.
In 2006 he presents NEST a collection of sofas intended for outdoor use.
The variety of elements and dimensions allows to customise any area.
Afterwards the company hails the projects of James Irvine with the Zeta collection.
Starting by Gala Wright CORO begins a co-operation with young designers, recently JoeVelluto.
More recently for the contract field we introduced new project of the Maze collection designed by Matteo Nunziati.
The sector of interior design is specialized in Luxury Hotels, Residences, wellness Centres Spa, which have been produced all over the world.
A new project presented by Ilaria Marelli: Branch collection.
She develops fashion and design exhibit projects – for example the Pitti fashion events – and designs both private interiors and showrooms.

MATERIALS
The accurate selection of the raw materials is expressed with the use of satin stainless steel for frames.
PVC nylon cord for dressing the backrests, is a plastic material that maintains the elasticity, durability and colour of the products used both indoors and outdoors unchanged over time.
Our slats are made of polyurethane foam shaped out of moulds made exclusively for our items, is an inert material particularly for outdoor use, as it is not subject to variations due to temperature and atmospheric agents.
Stratified laminate, is the best to guarantee high quality.
Tested against cigarettes burns, termites, bending traction compression durability and abrasion.
Special acrylic fabric & a nautical dryfeel pad, 100% tested for outdoor use, are the materials cushions are made of.
